2025-2026 DAI Policies & Procedures
Keeping all artists safe while discovering their artistry is our priority!
CLASS POLICIES & PROCEDURES:
Dancers should only wear dance shoes inside of the dance room and should never wear dance shoes outside.
Dancers should arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of their dance class to have enough time to change into their dance shoes.
All dancers should arrive in dancewear (no changing at the studio). Dancers may wear regular clothes on top of this during colder months.
Please notify us at (475) 238-0812 if your dance is going to be late or absent from class.
All dancers must attend 28 or more classes in order to participate in the June Summer Recital.
Ballet I should wear wrap skirts or no skirt (no tutus).
Evaluations may be required for proper dance class placement for dancers ages 6 and up

If you’re experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or live with a person who is experiencing symptoms, you should refrain from attending in-person programs.
All artist and staff are welcome to wear a mask while participating in classes, workshops, lessons, performances, and/or any other indoor DAI activity.
All artist are required to wash their hands and/or hand sanitize prior to entering any indoor program space.
All studio spaces used for DAI programs will be sanitized including barres, handrails, restrooms, dance floors, and any other equipment/materials provided.
Adult artist (ages 18+) and parents/guardians of artists under 18, must sign a ‘Participation Waiver’ before participating in any DAI programs
Dancers must bring their own water bottle for classes. No food is allowed in the studio. Please limit unnecessary items (including toys, necklaces, bracelets, etc.).
Artists under the age of 10 must have a registered parent/guardian come to the door for pick up after programs.
